My husband said, the prayers were EXACTLY the things he wanted to pray for but couldn't find the words to say. I must admit that we didn't "gear" up for this journey (the devil doesn't like when you pray together), so there have been many, many, many trials to come our way....but we seem to keep pushing and praying to get through. This book and it's partner book for wives are both great. The prayers are not too specific, so they'd apply to any marriage I assume. They encourage prayer, and they encourage the growth of thought for one's spouse on a daily basis. I have felt the difference in my spiritual life since using these books, and I have been made to remember the importance of and the great gift of prayer! God longs to be and needs to be the center of our marriages :) These books are one good way to grow toward that.
This is an amazing book as I sometimes have difficulty on what to pray for my wife. This is an amazing book as it looks into all aspects of my wife and what she needs and puts it as a prayer to God. I am also reading Husband after God with this book and read one chapter in this book and then pray for my wife for the day using the prayer for my wife. Even if I have had a disagreement with my wife, then reading this book (Husband after God) enables God to make my heart tender and pray the prayer from my heart.This also helps me see things from my wives perspective.
